Rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord , O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. Praise the Lord with the harp; Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy. For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord .
Psalms 33:1‭-‬5 NKJV

No, it doesn’t say if.

It says rejoice.

Because wherever we are, whatever is occurring, God is still worthy of all praise, honor, and worship.

Yes, it’s not always easy to rejoice, especially during sorrow and grief, but it’s a choice to look toward God Almighty and praise Him, for He is worthy.

No one experienced more loss than Job and his example is what we should follow.

Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord  gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord .”
Job 1:20‭-‬21 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/job.1.20-21.NKJV

He lost all his children and his entire livelihood in one day and yet he worshiped God.

May we follow in his example of worship no matter the circumstances.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your wonderous works. Lord, Your name is worthy of all praise, all honor, all glory. May our hearts never weary of praising You. May our eyes look and see all the things You have done. Please let us meditate on Your Word and find all that we need. Lord Jesus speak to our hearts and guide our minds into Your truths. Let the whole Earth be filled with the knowledge of the glory of You, God. Thank You. Amen.
