The camera in my phone just couldn’t capture this morning ‘s beauty.
That tiny speck, which was the Moon, looked so much closer and brighter to the eye.
The mountains swathed in mist were rose colored, kissed by the blush which covered the horizon and promised the Sun’s warm rays would soon be within view.
Even the bales of hay were lovely, peaking out from the gray cloud.
Only a moment to survey all this, but with the help of the camera, I thought I’d remember how beautiful it all was.
It’s these early mornings which cause me to pause, to wonder.
If it’s this beautiful now,
what were the days of creation like?
Psalm 33:6-9 KJV
[6] By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. [7] He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: He layeth up the depth in storehouses. [8] Let all the earth fear the LORD: Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. [9] For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
As miraculous as each new day is,
how much more magnificent will it be when Jesus reigns?
Revelation 11:15 KJV
[15] And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
With such a testimony in creation to our glorious Creator
how could I not worship Him?
Psalm 8:1 KJV
[1] O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word! Thank You for this beautiful morning and all the one previous. Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness and daily testimonies to Your goodness. Lord Jesus, I honor You. You are worthy of praise, glory, and adoration. Your works are great and greatly to be praised! How good it is simply to look on that which is Your creation and to stand in awe. How marvelous are Your many blessings, Your truth endures throughout every generation. You are magnificent and there is none who compare to You. Your love is awesome. Your sacrifice astounding. Your power unmatched. May all the Earth be filled with the knowledge of Your glory. I love You. Amen.
