3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? Psalms 8:3-4 NKJV
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You that You did visit us. That You came to Earth wrapped in flesh and as humble as the rest of us. Thank You that You taught us about the Father and You taught us about ourselves. Thank You that You died a horrible death and rose victorious forever! Thank You that no pain, no tragedy, no loss is outside Your understanding. Your love covers a multitude of sins. Lord, please teach us how to live unto You in today. Please shift off those things of this world which would rob, choke, or scorch the seed of faith in our lives. Lord, I want to be the field which produces a crop for You. I want my life to bring You glory. I surrender my day before You and I thank You for it. Have Your way in me this day, Jesus. Amen.
John 6:68-69NKJV — But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for truth. Lord, let us turn our eyes, our hearts, our souls to You, from no other place can we be saved. Lord, let us not be caught up in busyness and activity that we forget You. Lord, let us make a covenant with our eyes not to look on worthless things. Please, Lord teach us how to pray, how to trust, how to live. Teach us how to be people of the light and to reflect You in all things. Lord, we praise and thank You for salvation! We thank You for Your wonderous works! Please continue to provide for the needy, to defend the helpless, to return the prodigal, and save the lost. No matter what we encounter today, may our lips speak truth and our hearts sing praises. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV — The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You so much for this verse. I know You wrote it to the children of Israel. Thank You for choosing the children of Israel to be a witness to all generations of Your goodness, faithfulness, and love. Thank You for coming, and teaching us how to be saved. Thank You that Your love is an everlasting love.
John 16:27 KJV — For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 3 Give us day by day our daily bread. 4 And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.” Luke 11:2-4 NKJV
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You for teaching us how to pray. Thank You for providing for all our needs, including forgiveness for sin. Lord, please help us to forgive as You forgive. Lord, please feed our souls and our bodies. Lord, thank You for always providing a way out of temptation, help us be quick to flee anything which would tempt us to sin. Lord, thank You for delivering us from evil through Your precious sacrifice. Let us never grow callous or ignorant of Your costly gift. Your name is above all names! Your truth is life and liberty. Thank You for dieing on the cross and rising again. Thank You that Your kingdom will never end. May Your name be glorified in us today! Amen.
