Today’s prayer:

Lord, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, hope in the Lord From this time forth and forever.
Psalms 131:1‭-‬3 NKJV

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for speaking so clearly to us. Lord, thank You for continuing to bring profound truth through Your Word. Lord Jesus, thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding found in these lines. To sit with You as a young child secure in their parent, just being content to be close. Lord, that is what I want, today. Please help my heart to just sit quietly, to rest in Your Sovereignty, to find peace in Your truth. Lord Jesus, I am a small child who needs the guidance and direction of my Heavenly Father. Thank You for always being good, always trustworthy, always loving. Thank You for the incredible lengths You went to save us. Thank You for Your wondrous works daily. Thank You for loving me. I love You. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your salvation. Thank You that we need not fear. Our lives belong to You. Lord Jesus, thank You for teaching us daily and speaking so clearly to the humble in heart. Lord, thank You that You use those who completely surrender before You. Lord, I choose to completely surrender before You. Lord, this day, this body, this life does not belong to me. They are Yours alone and I acknowledge Your Sovereignty in all things. Lord Jesus, please continue to help the helpless, to provide for the needy, to return the prodigal, to protect the innocent, and to save the lost. Lord, I thank You for all Your wonderous works. Amen.
