Today’s prayer:

Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.
Psalms 119:49‭-‬50 NKJV

Psalm 119:76 KJV — Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

Romans 15:4 KJV — For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word and the comfort within. Lord, thank You for the hope we find through Your sacrifice. Lord Jesus, thank You that we can praise You day and night and never come to the end of reasons to praise You. Lord, truly, You are great and greatly to be praised! Lord, I praise You for Your faithfulness, for Your mercy, for Your grace, for Your wisdom, for Your Sovereignty, for Your goodness, for Your holiness, for Your love. Thank You for being all we ever need. Thank You for supplying all we require and then some. Thank You for choosing to use the weak, the feeble, the unimportant, the humble, the meek, and those least expected to work through. Thank You that You do not see as man sees. Thank You that You are not fooled by useless trappings or the facade. Thank You that You are truth and You have given it abundantly to us. Lord, please help us turn to You when we need. Lord, please help us to put off the fake, the false, to step away from lies. Lord, cleanse us from all unrighteousness and reveal Your truth to us daily. Lord, please continue to hone our hearts and minds, that we might not sin against You. Thank You, Lord. Thank You. Amen.

The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein. Psalms 24:1 NKJV

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.
Psalms 37:7‭-‬9 NKJV

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for the truth within. Lord, thank You that no matter the circumstances, You are in control and Your way is best. Lord, I lift up those who are sick and hurting, those who are helpless, the captive, the lost. Please touch each one. Please bring them comfort through the truth of Your salvation. Lord, please help all of us to realize that You alone are the truth, the way, and the light. Lord, humble our hearts before You, that we might not sin against You. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for salvation. May we rest in You and do just as You have instructed. Thank You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s prayer:

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Psalms 127:3 NKJV

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your gift of children. You have made such a wonderful blessing when You created mankind and set us in a family. Lord, thank You for godly fathers and godly mothers. Lord Jesus, thank You for those who love You and walk with integrity and truth, loving as You have shown us in Your Word. Thank You for those who are standing in the place of father or mother to those who are in need of such. Thank You for the older fathers and mothers who continue to be examples of integrity, truth, honor, self-sacrifice, and godliness to those younger than themselves. Lord, my heart longs for each child to be treasured and cared for as You intended. Please help the fatherless, the needy, the orphan, the abused. Please restore justice and righteousness. Lord Jesus, please teach each one of us how to walk in Your ways. Thank You. Amen.

Today’s prayer:

Ephesians 5:8-9 NKJV — For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for walking us forward into Your truth. Lord, thank You for redeeming me, and making me a reflection of You, Your light shining through me. Lord, please help me to walk with You in integrity, to cultivate the fruit of Your Spirit in my heart. Lord, I don’t want a make believe relationship with You, one which is superficial. Rather, my heart’s desire is to be completely Yours, to put off the lusts of the flesh and to cling to Your salvation. Lord Jesus, please teach me how to cultivate the fruits of Your Holy Spirit. Please help me to walk in love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Please make me more like You today. Thank You. Amen.

Today’s prayer:

Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV — Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Lord, I know these words “the joy of the Lord is your strength” were given to the children of Israel at a specific time and place. Lord, the truth of it resonates with my heart this morning. Lord, I can find joy in You and I can walk in Your ways. I can rest in Your love and find strength in the joy which Your salvation brings. Lord, nothing is as important as Your will in my life. Nothing is as precious as Your sacrifice for me. Lord, I love You and I thank You for Your love. I pray You are glorified today, for in my weakness You are strong. Blessed be the name of the Lord! Amen.

Today’s prayer:

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: And in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me: Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Psalm 19:7‭-‬14 KJV

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for the truth within. Lord, these words in Psalms 19 are my humble prayer this morning. Lord, Your law is perfect. Please help me to follow it daily. I want to be wise through knowledge of Your testimonies. Teach me Your statutes continually. Please cause my way to be lit by Your truth, that I might walk in Your Word. Lord, help me to trust You in all things, knowing that mankind is not just nor righteous, but You are and You see all. Please let me place my expectations in Your mercy and grace, for Your judgements are true and right. Lord, I want nothing of this earth save what You choose to place in my life, for You are the lasting treasure. Please cleanse me of my secret faults, those things even I am blind too. Please keep me from presumptuous sins, place a guard over my lips, and a protection over my heart, that I might not sin against You. Please show me my error quickly, that I might repent and leave me not in the place of arrogance, for many pride has taken. Lord Jesus, my strength and my Redeemer, You are great and greatly to be praised. With my every breath I want my heart to praise You. I love You, Jesus. Amen.

John 17:3 NKJV — “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word and it’s truth. Lord, please shine Your truth into this dark world. Lord, let those who know You live in such a way as to shine brightly. Lord, please help us to remember what is eternal life and to walk in that knowledge daily, not losing sight of it ever. Lord, please protect us from evil and deliver us from the schemes of the enemy. Lord, help us to live wholely devoted to You in all things that no matter what, we will stand for truth and humbly live in Your righteousness. Lord Jesus, let nothing of this world entangle us that we forsake You. Lord, please help us to be diligent in training our children, patient in dealing with others, quick to forgive and willing to wait upon You in all things. Lord, please keep us from following our own way. Thank You for all Your wonderous works. Thank You for another day. I praise Your holy name, Jesus! Today’s prayer:

John 17:20-21 NKJV — “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your prayers for us. Thank You for all Your wonderous works on our behalf. Lord, please help me to be one with You as You are with the Father. Lord, please build true unity in Your followers, that we might bring glory to Your name. Lord, You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Lord, please, let the overflow of our hearts be words which edify and our lives be totally surrendered before You. Lord, please let us be marked by humility, love, and truth. Please, heal the hurting, free the captives, sustain the helpless and needy, return the prodigal, and save the lost. Thank You. Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for Your faithfulness. May the whole earth be filled with the knowledge of Your glory. Amen.

Today’s prayer:

So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
Psalms 63:2‭-‬3 NKJV

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your loving kindness. It is far better than life. Lord, our time on earth is short, but Your love is abundant. You have been faithful and just throughout the generations. Your truth, mercy, and grace are amazing. Lord Jesus, You are great and greatly to be praised. Lord, there is so much darkness through the world. Wars and plagues spread. Please let these times cause people to turn to You. Please help those who know You to live daily for You alone and to walk in truth wherever they are. Lord, please help us not to become entangled by the cares of this world but to be transformed by Your Holy Spirit that our lives might bring glory to Your name. My lips praise You, Jesus, for I have seen Your power and might. Lord, I have seen Your love and faithfulness. Lord, You are great and I worship You alone. Amen.
