In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for being the Word. Thank You for being God, Creator of the Universe. Thank You that we have the scriptures to learn about You and ourselves. Thank You for teaching us that You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank You that You made a way for us to go to the Father. Please continue to shine into the darkness. Please continue to reveal the truth and to show us Your plan for each one of us. Lord Jesus, please help us to look to You for all things. Show us our error when we lean on ourselves or others rather than You. Lord, thank You for Your salvation. Thank You for healing the sick, protecting the innocent, freeing the captive, and saving the lost. Thank You for teaching, guiding, directing, and giving us Your perfect example. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for my life. May I reflect You in all my ways. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
