Today’s prayer:

Psalm 28:7 KJV — The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your Word and the comfort within. Thank You for watching over me as I walk through these daily things. Lord, thank You for providing for me a way to be saved, supplying all my needs, and sustaining me through this life. Lord Jesus, I thank You for being my strength and my shield. Thank You for being the place I put my trust, the solid unmoving foundation that I can build my faith upon. Thank You for helping me each day. Lord Jesus, I lift up the hurting, the sick, the broken, and those who mourn. I lift up the orphan, the widow, the helpless, and the captive. Lord, I lift up those who are trapped in the cycle of abuse, those who have yet to know You, and those who have wandered from Your ways. Lord, for each of these I humbly request that You touch them right where they are. That Your truth and righteousness will shine through their circumstances, that they will see what they need and turn from those things which have ensnared them, clinging only to You and Your truth. Lord, let those who know You love each day serving You with all they are. Please let us each bring You glory, honor, and praise. Lord Jesus, You are worthy of all worship! Your name is great and greatly to be praised! Your acts are righteous, Your Word is truth! Your salvation is life eternal and Your love is true, perfect. Thank You, Jesus! Amen!
