Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You that You left us such an incredible example of how to walk through this world. Thank You for those You used to preserve Your Word, that we might know and learn about You. I want to imitate You, please help me to do so. Lord Jesus, please hold my hand as I walk through this day, teaching me, guiding me, and helping me to trust You continually. Lord, Your ways are perfect and Your truth is life. I thank You so much for the blessings You have bestowed upon each one of us: life, provision, breath, the Bible, love, joy, peace, patience, compassion, understanding, but most of all salvation. Lord Jesus, I want to follow after You, living today honoring Your sacrifice and loving as You do. Please continue to help me to see You clearly, knowing You personally, and following You always. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
