December 28

Today’s prayer:

Luke 11:2-4 NKJV — So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.”

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your prayer. Lord, I pray this today. I remember that there is no God like our Heavenly Father. Blessed be Your name, LORD! I look forward with great anticipation to the coming of Your kingdom, Lord Jesus. Lord, may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May the waywardness of our sinful hearts be turned into the pleasure of the obedient servant. Lord, thank You for Your provision today. Thank You for the food, the shelter, the material things which You have given me this day. Lord Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifice which washes me clean from all iniquity. Please continue to forgive me of my sins and teach me daily how to forgive others the same way You forgive me. Lord, let me keep no account of wrongs, but rather rejoice in Your truth. Lastly, Lord Jesus, please protect me from the temptations of this sinful world and my own sinful nature. Please place a guard over my eyes, my heart, my lips that I might not sin against You. Lord Jesus, please deliver me from the snares of the enemy and the tricks of evil. Thank You. May Your name be glorified daily, Jesus, my Lord. Amen.
