Today’s prayer:
Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV — Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Lord, I know these words “the joy of the Lord is your strength” were given to the children of Israel at a specific time and place. Lord, the truth of it resonates with my heart this morning. Lord, I can find joy in You and I can walk in Your ways. I can rest in Your love and find strength in the joy which Your salvation brings. Lord, nothing is as important as Your will in my life. Nothing is as precious as Your sacrifice for me. Lord, I love You and I thank You for Your love. I pray You are glorified today, for in my weakness You are strong. Blessed be the name of the Lord! Amen.
