Today’s prayer:
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: And in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me: Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Psalm 19:7-14 KJV
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for the truth within. Lord, these words in Psalms 19 are my humble prayer this morning. Lord, Your law is perfect. Please help me to follow it daily. I want to be wise through knowledge of Your testimonies. Teach me Your statutes continually. Please cause my way to be lit by Your truth, that I might walk in Your Word. Lord, help me to trust You in all things, knowing that mankind is not just nor righteous, but You are and You see all. Please let me place my expectations in Your mercy and grace, for Your judgements are true and right. Lord, I want nothing of this earth save what You choose to place in my life, for You are the lasting treasure. Please cleanse me of my secret faults, those things even I am blind too. Please keep me from presumptuous sins, place a guard over my lips, and a protection over my heart, that I might not sin against You. Please show me my error quickly, that I might repent and leave me not in the place of arrogance, for many pride has taken. Lord Jesus, my strength and my Redeemer, You are great and greatly to be praised. With my every breath I want my heart to praise You. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
