Today’s prayer:

Habakkuk 2:4 KJV — Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your Word. Please Lord, help me to follow this example. Lord, help my heart to realize what it is to live by faith. To be justified before You due to Your sacrifice and to live in complete surrender to Your will, Your Word is what I want to walk in daily. Lord, sometimes I don’t know what that looks like in my daily tasks. Sometimes, I’m lost as to how to apply trusting You in a particular circumstance. Lord, please teach my heart through Your Word how to live by faith. Please show me when I’ve chosen worry over trust, that I might repent and turn away from that. Lord, please keep me from the folly of leaning on my own understanding. In all my ways I want to acknowledge You. For You alone are God, there is none besides You. Lord Jesus, please help the helpless. Lift up the needy, the hurt, the sick, and the abused. Lord, be their defender and their Savior. Let them put off fear of man and put on faith in You. Lord, You alone know what is best and I know we can all cling to You each day and find all our soul’s need. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
