May 19

Today’s prayer:

An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flatters himself in his own eyes, When he finds out his iniquity and when he hates. The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good. He devises wickedness on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil. Your mercy, O Lord , is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord , You preserve man and beast.
Psalms 36:1ā€-ā€¬6 NKJV

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You that we can find refuge in Your Word. Lord, thank You for walking with us in all things. Lord, please continue to guide and direct us. Lord, please help us to look to You in all things. Lord, touch those who are hurting, lost, broken, and discouraged. Please shine Your truth into their hearts. Break the chains of bondage, addiction, abuse. Thank You for Your faithfulness. I love You Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for sharing! God is amazing and His ability to transform lives is beautiful indeed. My father was also transformed from addiction to both alcohol and tobacco. He definitely is in the business of transforming and redeeming!ā¤ļø

I should have added that your comment was really encouraging to me this morning. My husband was injured and we spent a couple hours in the ER early this morning. He’s going to be fine, praise God. Your words were a blessing. Thank you.ā¤ļø

Oh my goodness. I’m sorry to hear about his injury. Thank God he’ll be okay! That’s good to know.

And I’m glad you found encouragement in my words šŸ™‚ Whatever is going on, I hope you both have a peaceful, calm day! You should encourage your husband to take it easy, as sometimes men just want to keep on working and working, even with an injury.

        God bless ā¤ļø šŸ™‚
