In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for being the light. Thank You for being holy, nothing mixed with evil or wickedness. Lord, thank You for being all that is good, true, and pure. Lord, thank You for being loving, kind, compassionate, long suffering, and full of mercy and grace. Thank You for being my refuge and strength. Thank You for reminding me that I am clay, my life but a vapor, my righteousness as filthy rags. Lord, thank You for cleansing me, for giving me eternal life, thank You for the hope of heaven. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
