Today’s prayer:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Psalm 23. Lord, Your Word is comfort, truth, beauty, and so much more. Please open my mind to Your Word, help me to turn to You and Your Word for every question, every circumstance. Lord, shine Your truth into my heart and mind. Thank You for a new year. Thank You for a new day. Please, Lord touch and heal the hurting and the sick. Please return the prodigal to Yourself, that they might come to their senses. Lord Jesus, please save the lost, turn back those who are abusing themselves and others. Lord, please protect the innocent. Lord Jesus, thank You for salvation. Thank You for all Your wonderous ways. Thank You for walking with us. Lord, please let Your name be glorified through me and my family. Thank You Jesus for Your love. I love You. Amen.
This is the first verse my mother taught me and my siblings when we were little girls.
Still to this day it is my run to verse. Happy New Years to you.
What a wonderful one to know. It is my run to verse as well. God bless and Happy New Years!
