One pocket

It was less than inspiring.

“I’m tired…
I haven’t slept in…
Every one is focused on themselves and I’m picking up the pieces…
The schedule is beyond any person’s ability…
It’s not fair!
What about me?”

Just a glimpse into my morning.

I looked up and took a deep breath.

“Sorry Lord.”

I was hosting a huge pity party and feeling sorry for myself.

But the Lord stepped in and helped change my focus.

So to help me remember the One who is walking me through the days, the hours, the minutes I tucked a verse inside my pocket.

I’m so glad I did.

After a tough 2 hours of crabby and sick students I saw it.

The knowledge of the truth in my pocket helped me smile and help with renewed vigor.

This is what it says:
“You are My servant,  I have chosen you and have not cast you away: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Is.41:9b-10

Praise God for He is merciful and my strength!
